Yes, you can filter your chat conversations to see what was said about any particular item.

ShopSee displays what’s in your contact list and makes an avatar from the image for your friend, if you have stored one.

Otherwise, ShopSee makes an avatar from your friend’s name and initials.

If you haven’t store a name for your friend, then ShopSee identifies your friend by his or her phone number, and makes an avatar from its last 3 digits.

Some friends and topic conversations can get quite heated!

You can mark them as “do not disturb” to stop receiving posts or calls from them.

Dropping a 1-1 conversation deletes its content from your phone.

The conversation re-appears automatically if your friend makes a post or calls you. You can block them if you do not want to be distracted.

Yes, that’s what ShopSee is about!

ShopSee let’s you browse for items of interest.  At any time, you can involve a friend or a group of friends in your shopping journey.

Then, as you discover and want to remark on items of interest, they see your  conversation together overlaid instantly over the same items.

Conversation is easy because you see both the items and your conversation together. And, of course, there’s no need to swap into and of other apps all the time.

First add your friend to your conversations list if you haven’t already done so.

Now start the conversation.

Then select the item you want to share.  You can do this by:

    1. tapping CHAT ABOUT next to the item, or by
    2. long pressing the item.

Your item automatically displays beneath your friend’s chat when he or she is in ShopSee store with you as their current conversation.

If your friend is already in chat with you, their subject item flashes to prompt them to visit your item.

If your friend is not in ShopSee, she or he receives a notification that you want to chat.

On selecting the notification, your friend sees your conversation over the item you selected.

Co-browsing to share your shopping experience dynamically.

Dropping a topic conversation deletes its content from your phone.

Other members continue to be able to see its content.

You will no longer be a member, and will no longer be able to receive or make posts or calls.

Ownership of a dropped topic conversation that you own passes to a remaining member at random.

When remote co-browsing, one member is always the “leader”. The other members follow and can ask the leading member to take over as leader at any time.

When co-browsing locally, both members can take the lead simultaneously without having to ask the other.

 

Talking while co-browsing makes the experience more productive and fun.

You can mute the call if you don’t want to hear audio or be heard.

Download and installation

ShopSee is new … and getting even better by the day!

So, it’s always a good idea to keep it up to date.

The best way to stay up to date is to enable auto-update for the ShopSee app on your phone. On Android phones:

    1. Open the Google Play Store app Google Play.
    2. Tap Menu Menu and then Settings.
    3. Tap Auto-update apps.
    4. Select an option:
      • Over any network to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
      • Over Wi-Fi only to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.

Alternatively, if you want to decide when to update, simply go to ShopSee on Goggle Play and tap UPDATE when you’re ready.

ShopSee is about being contactable — and being easy to reach friends when we need them, and wherever they are.

Few friends carry PCs and tablets everywhere. So, no, we don’t support PCs and tablets today.

 

 

We support phones with Android 5.x and higher today.

When you install ShopSee, we send you a code to verify your phone number.

Please follow these steps when you are prompted:

    1. Confirm your number if prompted, alternatively
    2. Choose your country from the drop down list of supported  countries to fill your country code.
    3. Enter your phone number in the box on the right: don’t put 0s before your phone number.
    4. Tap SUBMIT and OK to confirm your number.
    5. If requested, enter the code you receive via SMS.

 

You can download ShopSee in Google Play for the following currently supported countries:

    • India (+91)
    • United Kingdom (+44)

Your phone must also contain a SIM corresponding to one of the above countries.

If you are moving from an old phone with Android Marshmallow or later (6.0+) to a new phone with Android Marshmallow or later (6.0+), then you may migrate your conversation messages and settings automatically.

    1. Ensure you are logged in with your Google account on both phones
    2. Ensure backup is enabled on both phones
    3. Make sure ShopSee is fully backed up on your old phone:
      • Tap the MENU button () in ShopSee
      • Tap About
      • Look for the time of Last backup:  . . .
    4. Perform a manual backup if this last backup time is before your latest ShopSee content and settings.
    5. Re-install ShopSee on your new phone
    6. When prompted, tap KEEP MY OLD MESSAGES.

Inviting friends into conversations is easy.

Tap the add friend icon for a 1-1 conversation.

Or tap the create topic icon to make a topic conversation and add friends to it.

In both case, you chose your friends from your contact list.

When a friend doesn’t already have the ShopSee app, you are prompted to send them a message using whatever method (chat app, e-mail, SMS etc.) works for you.

You must create a conversation to be its owner.

When you drop a friend, she or he is no longer be able to chat or call in your conversation — but continues to be able to see posts received and sent during the time she or he was a member.

Other members continue to be able to see its content.

You will no longer be a member, and will no longer be able to receive or make posts or calls.

Your friends’ call will not be disturbed and their call will remain until everyone has hung up.

Your call icon will flash while the call is in progress. Just tap it to re-join the call.

 

For best call quality you need a good WiFi or 3G+ mobile connection.

Calls do not work 2G mobile.

 

Yes, absolutely.
